Why are you learning envision and not Security Analytics? Envision is now end-of-primary-support. Or is your organization not completely transitioned to Security Analytics?

I agree with Mathew, I would reach out to our Sales team and investigate the possibility of a Proof of Concept (POC) This will allow you to test the newer Security Analytics Product that can perform Logs and or Packets.
You will be pleased with the performance and the ability to report, chart and graph with this product for the logging aspect.
